More poetry news

Well, last Saturday’s performance at the Day of Good Poetry in Bath went very well. We had some excellent feedback and suggestions that we record it for Radio Bristol, and/or send our video to YouTube.

If you want to read more about our piece and the process, or watch the video, just nip across to – but don’t forget to come back!

In other news, I was really sorry to miss the Poetry Space gathering at London’s poetry cafe yesterday. It sounds like a lovely bunch of poets came together to meet and celebrate and hear each other’s work. I was unable to attend because I’ve had a foot operation and can’t stand for more than five minutes at a time. No driving for 6-8 weeks, so I’m stuck on my sofa endlessly reading crime novels until my brain decides to return. Today is the first day I’ve been able to catch up on emails.

I will be reading at the next Poetry Space gathering in Bristol though, on Saturday 6th June, and I’m also booked for Priddy Folk Festival in July. This morning I was asked if I’d read with three others at Bristol Poetry Festival in September. Delighted to say yes, so watch out for further updates on all of these.

I’d better get writing and editing again…
